Pratisarga

Pratisarga (Sanskrit) [from prati forwards, towards + the verbal root srij to flow forth, appear in manifestation] In Sankhya philosophy, the intellectual evolution of the universe; the secondary or continued creation out of primordial matter. In abstract philosophy, also applied to the portion of a Purana which treats of the opposite phase of cosmic rhythm, the destruction as well as the renovation of the universe. Pratisarga thus may be used both as a creation or dissolution.

Why Pratisarga?

Artists cannot "create" but recreate out of elements that are in itself inert and lifeless..and hence the name of secondary creation.

My creations are really odds and ends..not one medium in particular. I dabble in painting, sewing, crafting.

I am a software engineer by trade and artist by passion. Anything that pleases your senses is ART. I like to live life. Small things in nature inspires me to create and helps me "de-stress".

I will post my creations as well as anything that I find is beautiful..please provide feedback. Enjoy!!
